PRI will conduct a staffing study of the Elgin Police Department’s records unit to determine required staffing levels. PRI will conduct a job-task and workload inventory, work-task timing, and business process analysis to determine staffing requirements under current operating conditions, as well as future staffing requirements if the recommended organizational structure, process, and technological changes were to be implemented.
PRI will provide a detailed data-driven staffing model which reveals the number of personnel needed to complete the workload of the unit, and will make recommended changes to the operation which would result in efficiency gains.
