Monthly subject matter expertise and support to assist with NIBRS reporting and system related questions and issues. This includes:

  • A dedicated support consultant who will remain available to answer questions and provide subject matter expertise related to the proper transition to NIBRS reporting and coding of reports;
  • Access to on-demand training for personnel including recorded versions of all PRI NIBRS-related training webinars.

PRI will assess the full crime reporting process to identify causes of errors, report delays, and inaccuracies in crime data. PRI will:

  • Review a sampling of reports to determine error types and sources of errors.
  • Conduct a forensic review of the RMS to include identifying coding errors in the statute table.
  • Assess current approaches to reviewing, rejecting, and correcting reports.

Basic Staffing Analysis ($7,500)

WHAT'S INCLUDED...

PRI will provide a basic staffing analysis to determine appropriate staffing levels. PRI will:

  • Conduct a work task inventory to identify and document all work activities.
  • Gather historical and current workload volumes for each work task, extrapolated over a 1-year period.
  • Determine, in collaboration with records staff, an average time measurement for each work task.
  • Complete interviews with select staff to evaluate workload and personnel perceptions and challenges.
  • Calculate the required staffing levels.
  • Provide written findings and recommendations.
