PRI Awarded 3-year Contract with County Sheriff’s Office

After a lengthy, competitive purchasing process, PRI is pleased to announce it has been awarded a three-year contract with a large California county sheriff’s office to manage the agency’s procurement and implementation of new computer-aided dispatching, records management and police reporting systems, as well as to convert the agency’s data, business processes and reporting protocols to the National Incident Based Reporting System (NIBRS).

The sheriff’s office has over 2000 personnel, encompassing a region with 1.5 million residents. The agency’s broad scope of operations includes law enforcement, airport and marine patrol services, Coroner’s Bureau, a crime lab, court services, detention and corrections, explosive ordinance disposal squad, emergency services, search and rescue, and the urban area security initiative.

PRI is extremely proud of the faith the county has in our ability to see to the safety of its citizenry through the selection and implementation of new public safety systems. This project includes a comprehensive business process and needs assessment, development of a Request for Proposals document, vendor selection process, systems integration and implementation, data conversion, and training.
